Conan O’Brien shares details about the infamous “Tonight Show” conflict and why he turned down a $28 million deal to move to Fox.
He says that he never made a decision based on money. He hasn’t had money and he also did have money, and he’s okay with not having that much money. All he ever wanted is a body of work. He didn’t want to leave NBC on bad terms and leave 16 years of work that he’s proud of.
He says he’s really lucky and a lot of the times he was dealt some good cards, but other times some bad cards and he’s still proud of the way he played them.
He says celebrities shouldn’t complain because they get paid insane amounts of money to live out their dreams.
