    Weekend Box Office: A Nun in Venice

    Its a close one at the box office this weekend. The Nun II stayed at the top spot with $14.7 million, a 55% drop from its debut. Its domestic total stands at $56.5 million.

    A Haunting in Venice followed closely behind, debuting to $14.5 million from 3,305 theaters. The $60 million film took in another $22.7 million internationally for a $37.3 million debut. Its dometic debut is higher than Death on the Nile ($12.8M) but lower than Murder on the Orient Express ($28.6M). It nabbed a B Cinemascore and a 3.2 on Letterboxd.

    The Equalizer 3 ($7.23 million, -40%), My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 ($4.7 million, -53%) and Barbie ($3.9 million, -30%) rounded out the Top 5. Oppenheimer took in $2.1 million and officially passed the $900M mark worldwide, standing right now at $912 million.

    In indie news, Dumb Money debuted in 8 theaters and grossed $216,000, a $27k per-theater-average.
