On November 13, Bobby announced that he would leave Queer Eye. Every cast member commented in support of him except for Tan. Bobby unfollowed Tan and Tan unfollowed Bobby.
Us Weekly published an article alleging that Bobby was asked to leave because he didn’t vibe with the cast. Bobby’s side insists it was amicable.

On November 26, Bobby hints that he is getting his own show.
On January 2, Bobby published the poster for season 8 of Queer Eye on his Instagram and tagged everyone except Tan. He also liked a comment that read, “If Bobby is not cool with Tan then I’m not cool with Tan.”
Quickly after, Bobby backtracked by posting this photo:
Bobby or Bobby’s “friend” unliked the comment.
The Emmys took place just two days ago and the cast was not hanging out together.
