Scott Bakula is reuniting with CBS for a new television show!
The 71-year-old actor has been tapped to star in and executive produce a new detective drama, which is currently in development at the network, according to Deadline.
If you recall, Scott spent several years on the network when he starred in NCIS: New Orleans, and appeared on NCIS in the same role.

What we know about Scott Bakula’s potential new show
Per Deadline, the potential new series is a “high-concept detective producedural set in Los Angeles,” and Scott‘s character is a “leap” from his NCIS: New Orleans character.
The new show is being written and executive produced by Michael Sussman, who previously served as a writer and producer on another Scott Bakula series, Star Trek: Enterprise.
At this time, the show is only in development and has not received a series order yet.

Scott Bakula is also starring in a new Netflix show
In addition to his potential CBS return, Scott is also set to star in an upcoming new Netflix series.
The actor is a series regular on The Sticks, which is set to premiere in 2027.
Here’s the synopsis: After tragedy shatters a small Minnesota hockey town, a grieving wife steps behind the bench of the team her husband built, guiding a found family of wounded young athletes through a season of loss, love, and rivalry that will decide whether South Dorothy has anything left to believe in, and who will lead it into its next chapter.
Scott will play Coach Brody Hansen, while his real-life wife, Chelsea Field, who was also on NCIS: New Orleans, will have a recurring role as Alice Hansen.
