Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash has been left blindsided by the announcement that the group have “split”, as she was under the impression they would be playing festivals together next year.

The trio – Su-Elise, Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington – who initially split in 2005, had a surprise reunion at the Britain’s Got Talent final in May, before going on to perform for their largest audience to date at Capital’s Summertime Ball in June.
However, a press release was sent out on Monday (21.09.26), stating that the group had parted ways for a second time – with Su-Elise claiming in an Instagram post that it was sent out without her knowledge.
She wrote: “As far as I was aware, today was our deadline to make a decision on some incredible Mis-Teeq offers for 2027… including headlining a major UK festival, performing at another huge UK festival and potentially taking the show regional for everyone who couldn’t make Wembley.
“After the incredible response to our sold-out Wembley Arena show, I genuinely believed these were opportunities we were all excited about and hopefully saying YES to today as Mis-Teeq!
“So to find out that a press release went out to media today saying ‘Mis-Teeq have split’ has taken me by surprise.
“That’s news to me…”
Su-Elise then added: “Either way, I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved at Wembley and so grateful to everyone who came out and supported us.”
She was supported by her followers in the comments section, with one writing: “This shows a complete lack of integrity @sabrinawashington.
“To pull a STUNT like this is truly disappointing It’s also incredibly disrespectful to Mis-Teeq’s legacy. God doesn’t like ugly. This has genuinely made me very sad.”
While another added: “I hope you guys work, whatever is going on out. I didn’t make the show but from what I’ve seen. It looked and felt like, the beginning of something new for all of you.
“Don’t let the outside in. This chapter is for healing and moving on with love and power. Especially being in control of your narratives!”
News of Mis-Teeq’s latest split came the came day as Sabrina announced her A One Night Stand Just Ain’t Enough solo tour for 2027, kicking off in Manchester next February.
Neither she or Alesha have commented on Mis-Teeq’s split.
Mis-Teeq became one of the defining British girl groups of the early 2000s, best known for hits including Scandalous, All I Want and Why?.
Following their return to the stage, they even hinted that new music could be on the horizon, with Su-Elise telling The Sun: “We don’t have any plans for new music at the moment, but sometimes things align and we might go with them.
“It’s taken 20-plus years to get to this point.”
