A diverse group of celebrities volunteered their time on September 11 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the tragic day.
Nicole Kidman, Alix Earle, and Viola Davis were among the stars who participated in the 2026 Charity Day hosted by Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund on Friday (September 11) at BGC Group in New York City.
Cantor Fitzgerald, a financial firm, lost 658 employees on 9/11, more than any other company. Now, every 9/11, employees waive a day’s pay for Charity Day and celebs get on the trading floor to help raise money.
So many celebs participated this year, including Kristin Chenoweth, Victoria Justice, Nicki Minaj, Kenan Thompson, Djimon Hounsou, Marsai Martin, Ralph Macchio, and Misty Copeland, to name just a few.
The company said in a statement:
To create a legacy for those we lost, we expanded upon our mission. Every year on Charity Day, Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Group donate 100% of their revenues to support a wide variety of direct service charities around the world through the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.
Celebrity ambassadors join us on our trading floors to represent charities that are important to our families, employees, clients, and communities and helps us pay forward the kindness shown to us in the aftermath of 9/11. Our ambassadors have included prominent actors, musicians, sports icons, models, media personalities, royalty, and politicians.
