Nicola Coughlan was photographed wearing a fake baby bump for work, apparently for the upcoming Netflix project Tales of the Unexpected!
The 39-year-old Bridgerton star has reportedly joined the cast of the Roald Dahl adaptation, What’s on Netflix reports, and she was seen filming this week in Manchester, England alongside Then Barbara Met Alan star Arthur Hughes. The film clipboard suggests the project is being labeled as “Zoltar” for now.

Roald Dahl’s “Tales of the Unexpected” was published in 1979 and includes famous stories such as “The Landlady,” “Lamb to the Slaughter,” and “The Man from the South.” Fans seem to believe this project could be adapting “Lamb to the Slaughter” with Nicola portraying Mary Malony.
“Lamb to the Slaughter” is about a woman named Mary Maloney whose husband suddenly tells her he is leaving her. She becomes overwhelmed and kills him with a frozen leg of lamb, then cleverly covers up the crime and fools the police who come to investigate.
On set, she was seen entering a police building and was attacked by a dog.

No word yet on when the project might be released by Netflix.
