Heather Hemmens is officially married!
The 42-year-old Hallmark Channel star and her partner Nick Wajda tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of 40 guests at their home on Saturday (August 8) in Los Angeles.
The nuptials came three months after their engagement announcement.
The couple called the wedding “the beginning of our dream come true” in a statement to People, and revealed they were married by her uncle, Winston, who served as the officiant.
“We wanted an intimately detailed celebration, but with no travel stress. Where better than our home?” they added of the venue for their wedding.
“Deciding to get married in our home was the best decision! It really simplified things and has been so fun transforming it into our dream wedding venue!” Heather added.
Heather walked down the aisle to The New Basement Tapes‘ “When I Get My Hands on You.”
“I was going for something very understated but… once I tried on this dress, all that went out the window!” she said of her wedding dress.
“We wanted an ocean-view ceremony, delicious food, and dancing under the stars with our closest family and friends,” she added of the celebration, saying it was “just an official confirmation” of the two “already knew two weeks into dating. We want us, forever.”
Following the wedding ceremony, the couple will spend a 12-day honeymoon in Italy.
Heather is best known for Hellcats, Roswell, New Mexico and Yellowstone, among many Hallmark projects, including Texas Two-Step most recently.
