Travis Kelce is a devoted uncle
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end – who married Taylor Swift earlier this month – is a devoted uncle to brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie’s four daughters, Wyatt, six, Elliotte, five, Bennett, three, and 16-month-old Finnley and never hesitates about getting down on the ground to play with the youngsters.
Kylie said on her Not Gonna Lie podcast: “I would say the two older girls are more into the type of all in play that both dad and uncle Trav play.
“And uncle Trav will get down on the floor and play a quiet game of Barbies, but he will do, like, the throw launch, all that stuff. And the two older girls are more into that.
“Bennett, she’s a lady, and she has pearls, and she can’t be bothered with that type of play.”
The 34-year-old podcaster finds it hard to choose which of her girls has Travis most “tightly wrapped” around their little finger.
She said: “I think it changes,. I think that— sometimes I don’t know. I think it changes. I think that they all know that he is very down for anything they ask him to do or play. He’s in it.
“So, they know that he’s a willing participant and very rarely [gets] a no. So, typically, when they see Uncle Trav, it’s everybody in.”
But her youngest daughter can be a little more hesitant.
Kylie explained: “That’s because Finn wants nothing to do with anybody but mom and dad, sometimes dad, sometimes not dad.
“Uncle Trav doesn’t have Finn. That’s it. But that’s just because Finn is mom’s child.
“I know you guys want a specific answer, but I think it’s all of them.”
All four girls were flower girls at Travis and Taylor’s wedding and Jason recently admitted it was special for them to be involved in the big day.
Speaking during the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, the 38-year-old ESPN analyst said: “It was a special event for our entire family, and obviously my daughters are incredible.
“They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities.
“And Travis and Taylor love them.”
He concluded: “So, very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day.”
