The first stills from the Children of Blood and Bone adaptation have been released. The film’s ensemble includes Thuso Mbedu, Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, Lashana Lynch, Viola Davis, Regina King, Idris Elba, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Cynthia Erivo. It was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Old Guard, The Woman King) and will release in theatres January 15, 2027.
Earlier this month, author Tomi Adeyemi distanced herself from the adaptation of her series.
