    – Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon and Washington have joined together to sue Paramounts purchase of Warner Bros. The lawsuit alleges that the merger is illegal under the Clayton Act of 1914, which prevents mergers that may undermine competition or create a monopoly.

-“The unlawful merger of these two entertainment behemoths would lead to higher prices, lower quality, and less content for film and television, harming movie theaters, basic cable distributors, and ultimately, audiences on every sofa and movie theater seat in the U.S.,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a statement announcing the suit, which was filed in federal court in California’s Northern District.

-Paramount hit back with “Delaying this transaction will only harm entertainment workers who have already suffered over recent years as technology has disrupted their livelihood and cost California tens of thousands of entertainment jobs,” Paramount said in a statement after the suit was filed.

-The WGA got in on the lawsuit as well in an attempt to stop the merge.

-Paramount however is trying to scare California by allegedly looking into moving all of their production studios out of the state. Tennessee has already made it known that they would welcome Paramount/WB with open hands.

-The president has already made it known that he wants the Ellisons to take over CNN so they can turn it into a propaganda news channel.
