Tom Hardy is coming back to MobLand, assuming the show gets its official renewal order for Season 3.
The 48-year-old actor is set to return to the Paramount+ series starring Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan amid peculation about whether he would be coming back, per TheWrap.
An individual with knowledge behind-the-scenes told the outlet that Tom is expected back for the planned third season, although it has not yet been officially greenlit by the network.
If you didn’t know, there was a lot of drama in the past few months regarding Tom‘s involvement in the series after a report claimed Tom had been fired from the show.
A follow-up report alleged that the Venom star had kept cast and crew waiting on set and had clashed with producers during production.
Helen Mirren appeared to show support for her MobLand co-star afterward. A source then claimed that Tom was never fired and that “the door is not closed for Season 3.”
The series debuted in March 2025 and the first season was a huge hit with both fans and critics. MobLand Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ before the end of the year, though there is no release date yet.
Back in November, Tom was seen walking around set of Season 2 in his underwear.
