The Lincoln Center Theater is making a big announcement.

Organizers announced the 2026-2027 Broadway and Off-Broadway season on Tuesday (June 23) under the artistic direction of Lear DeBessonet at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, including A Few Good Men and The Sound of Music.

The first-ever Broadway revival of Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men stars Bradley Whitford and Tom Blyth. The first Broadway revival of The Sound of Music in nearly 30 years stars Jasmine Amy Rogers.

The Off-Broadway season at the Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters includes The Whoopi Monologues, starring Dominique Fishback, Kecia Lewis, Danielle Pinnock, Kerry Washington, and Kara Young. There’s also the American premiere of Playing Burton, a play by Mark Jenkins starring Matthew Rhys.

Plus, there’s The Composer Series, featuring Sara Bareilles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Pasek & Paul, who will “join forces with exciting emerging composers to share songs, stories, and the creative spark that connects one generation of artists to the next.”

“Our second season is rooted in a simple belief: people are hungry for meaningful shared experiences. We have curated a collection of shows that invite connection and conversation with the world around us. We want audiences to feel the hum of occasion and the promise of care from the moment they arrive at LCT. We hope these productions leave audiences with a deeper sense of truth, a renewed capacity for wonder, and a fuller connection to the heart of our shared humanity,” Lear said in a statement.
