-Karamo Brown best known for Queer Eye finally opens up about plastic surgery gone wrong (or as he wants to call it: just surgery)
-In 2021 Karamo had buccal fat removal after gaining weight from COVID. As he was getting comments on his body/face, he believed that the BFR would help slim down his down stating “I was a big boy, and everyone online liked to tell me how much of a big boy I was,” he says. “So, I was like, ‘Okay, maybe if I slim out my face, I’ll be cute.’ It turned into a year-and-a-half of pain.” Leading people to believe that he went filler crazy.
-The surgery ultimately ended up botched, causing his saliva glands to not drain properly and leak in his cheeks which would harden the scar tissue “There’d be times you’d see me smile, and it was tight,” he says. “My cheeks would be big because they were full of saliva, full of scar tissue. I was in the worst pain.”
-He ultimately found a doctor that would be able to fix the issue and since he’d be under anyway, he decided to get a lower blepharoplasty. “To be really transparent with y’all, I was like, ‘While we under, can you get rid of my bags?’ I’m 45!” he says. “He got rid of like 60% of my bags.”
-He lived happily ever after
