Queen Latifah kept her son Rebel private for years and now he’s stepping out in public with her.

Reports of Rebel‘s birth surfaced in 2019 and Queen Latifah later referenced both her son and partner during her emotional acceptance speech at the 2021 BET Awards.

Eboni, my love. Rebel, my love. Peace. Happy Pride!” she said while accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Queen Latifah and Eboni Nichols have reportedly been together for over a decade

Over the years, Queen Latifah has consistently chosen to keep her romantic relationships and family life away from constant public attention despite widespread curiosity from fans.

“I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not,” Queen Latifah previously told The New York Times. “Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.”
