SPOILER ALERT – Do not read ahead if you haven’t watched the new episode of Survivor!
Season 50 of Survivor has come to an end and a new winner has been crowned!
On Wednesday night (May 20), CBS aired the live season finale of the long-running reality competition series, and by the end of the episode, a new winner was announced.
Here was the finale’s synopsis: “Tensions rise following the exit of a particularly historic player; the Final Five immunity challenge features one of the closest finishes the show has ever seen; one castaway is crowned Sole Survivor and wins the $2 million prize.”
Going into the finale were Rizo Velovic, Jonathan Young, Tiffany Ervin, Joe Hunter and Aubry Bracco.
During the episode, Aubry won the last immunity of the season and secured a spot in the Final 3 as Tiffany was eliminated from the competition. Aubry saved Joe in the process and sent Rizo and Jonathan to the fire-making challenge. Rizo ended up losing the challenge and secured his spot as the last juror leaving Aubrey, Joe, and Jonathan as the Final 3.
At the final Tribal Council of the season, the jury members deliberated on who should be crowned the Sole Survivor.
In the end, the winner was…
Aubry Bracco – WINNER
Aubrey is the winner of the season and she won the $2 million grand prize!!!!
