Met Gala weekend is officially underway!
Sombr, Irina Shayk, Isha Ambani, and more stars stepped out for Vogue’s 2026 Met Gala Pre-Party, kicking off one of fashion’s biggest nights with a stylish celebration.
This year’s Met Gala theme, “Costume Art: The Dressed Body as Art,” is already inspiring bold and creative fashion moments ahead of the main event. The 2026 gala is co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour.
Business leader, arts patron and philanthropist Isha turned heads at the pre-party in a custom look by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Swadesh. The intricate ensemble featured 26 distinct borders, serving as a nod to the “Costume Art” theme and highlighting traditional craftsmanship through a modern lens.
Other stars in attendance included Teyana Taylor, Ashley Graham, Nina Dobrev, Lila Moss, Simone Ashley, Gabriette, Laura Harrier, Georgina Rodriguez, Orhan Awatramani, Eva Chen, Vera Wang, Zac Posen, and Summer the Guy, all bringing their own take on pre-Met glamour.
The annual Vogue pre-party has become a staple in the lead-up to the Met Gala, offering a first glimpse at the fashion energy and A-list turnout ahead of the iconic night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
