Another day, another round of layoffs in the video game industry.
After recent backlash against Epic Games for increasing V Bucks pricing, now here comes multi-billionaire CEO Tim Sweeney announcing the layoff of 1,000 employees at the company.
Oh, but they have millions to payout to shitty creator maps but I digress…
“Since it’s a thing now, I should note that the layoffs aren’t related to AI,” wrote Sweeney.
Fortnite modes Rocket Racing, Ballistic and Festival Battle Stage are also shutting down as a result.
