Two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali has signed on for season two of Task. The HBO series was renewed back in November. As of now, Mark Ruffalo is the only cast member from season one confirmed to return.
In season two, Ali will reportedly play Eddie Barnes, “a well-respected DEA agent in Philadelphia whose team comes into conflict with Tom’s.” The new season is reportedly still in pre-production, with a filming start date TBA.
