Now that Wicked: For Good is in theaters, we finally know who is playing Dorothy in the movies!
Just like in the Broadway musical, Dorothy’s presence is known and she’s part of the action of the story, but we never actually see her face or hear her speak.

It has been confirmed that Bethany Weaver is the actress who played Dorothy in Wicked: For Good.
Bethany is a West End musical theatre performer and choreographer who has been seen in shows like Rumi the Musical and Broken Wings The Musical.
Most recently, Bethany choreographed the West End musical Asmahan.
Director Jon M. Chu told USA Today of her casting, “She auditioned for us by doing shadow play, so she knows movement.”
Bethany celebrated her 30th birthday earlier this month and she’s in a relationship with fellow actor/dancer Mario Flamon. The couple took a trip to Egypt together over the summer!
