The hosts of the Today show went all out on their 2025 Halloween costumes.
Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Bush Hager, Craig Melvin, Al Roker and more dressed up as various icons during the Friday, October 31, episode of the NBC morning show. While Guthrie, 53, resembled fictional Devil Wears Prada editor Miranda Priestley, Bush Hager, 43, dressed as the character’s perceived inspiration, Anna Wintour. In addition, Melvin, 46, Willie Geist and Sheinelle Jones went as the real-life musical stars Prince, Wayne Newton and Beyoncé, respectively.
The Today show’s Halloween costume tradition began in 1994 and has since become a highly anticipated annual event. Last year, the hosts embraced the theme of VHS rewind, which celebrated blockbusters of the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s.
Memorable 2024 costumes included Roker, 71, and Dylan Dreyer as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice, Bush Hager, 43, and Hoda Kotb as Rose and Jack from Titanic, Carson Daly and Jones as Austin Powers and Foxxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers in Goldmember, Guthrie, 53, as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, Melvin, 46, as Axel F. Foley from Beverly Hills Cop, Geist as Ron Burgundy from Anchorman, Peter Alexander as Mrs. Doubtfire and Laura Jarrett as Isis from Bring It On.
Kotb, 61, and Bush Hager’s costumes held special significance as Kotb marked her final Halloween episode on Today before her January exit.
“Hoda’s just announced she’s leaving and my heart was broken, and yet it will go on,” Bush Hager told Today.com in October 2024.

Kotb agreed that her joint costume with Bush Hager felt fitting as she prepared to leave her role as a Today host.
“I’ve played all these weird characters over the years. I played Yoda. I was Cher, I was an acrobat, I was Elton [John] — which my kids still are scared of,” she explained. “So, I thought, ‘What should I be?’ Something beautiful, flowy. Then I said, ‘No, I’m going to be Jack from Titanic.’”
“I think it’s a great way to go out,” Kotb added. “Jenna and I hugging each other.”
