TIFF 2025 has concluded and announced their festival winners. Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet won the People’s Choice Award. Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein was the first runner-up, while Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man was the second runner-up.
For the first time, TIFF also awarded an International People’s Choice Award. Park Chan-wook’s No Other Choice won, with Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value and Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound as the first and second runner-ups respectively.
The Midnight Madness Award was won by Matt Johnson’s Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. To see the full list of winners on TIFF’s site, click here.
