Ron wrote on his page on July 16, “It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I inform you of the passing of my dear friend Connie Francis last night. I know that Connie would approve that her fans are among the first to learn of this sad news. More details will follow later.”
Connie‘s death comes just months after her song “Pretty Little Baby” had a major resurgence due to going viral on TikTok.
In a May 17 post to her Facebook page, Connie sent her “thanks to TikTok and its members for the wonderful, and oh so unexpected, reception” to the song. The song was originally released in 1962 when Connie was just 23 years old. 63 years later, fans still can’t get enough of the tune.
Connie was the first woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 with her song “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool.” Her other hits include “Who’s Sorry Now” and “Stupid Cupid.”
We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Connie‘s loved ones during this difficult time. Sadly, we’ve lost many other celebs in 2025 as well.
