    Aubrey Anderson-Emmons Comes Out as Bisexual by Quoting Iconic ‘Modern Family’ Scene

    Aubrey Anderson-Emmons is coming out in honor of Pride month.

    On Monday (June 16), the 18-year-old actress, best known for playing Lily Tucker-Pritchett on Modern Family, came out as bisexual.

    Aubrey publicly came out by quoting an iconic line from the beloved ABC sitcom.

    Keep reading to find out more…In a video shared on Instagram, Aubrey lip-synced to a scene from Modern Family featuring Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell and Sofia Vergara as Gloria.

    In the scene, Gloria says, “You are Vietnamese,” to which a young Lily responds, “No I’m not, I’m gay, I’m gay!”

    Mitchell then says, “Honey, no, you’re not gay. You are just confused!”

    Aubrey mouthed Lily’s lines while laughing and added text on-screen, which read, “People keep joking so much abt me being gay when I literally am (I’m bi).”

    In the caption of the post, Aubrey wrote, “happy pride month to all and to all a goodnight hehehe #modernfamily #lily #pridemonth #bi #pride🌈”
