Another fave of mine, with a voice made for rock, gets turned into a basic pop act…what else is new lmaooo. His new album FUNNY little FEARS is out now. Funnily enough, this was my fear for him. He did say he loves pop music and always wanted to be a pop act, not a rock one, so…he’s happy, I guess. The good news is that he’ll actually be able to sing all the songs live, which already puts him ahead of some other pop acts. There’s a song on the album called “The First Time” that sounds like a Taylor Swift song, other songs sound like well, everyone else. The visuals are also similar to Olivia Rodrigo’s. It’s like this whole debut was created by ChatGpt, based on what sells. He’s way more talented than what he’s putting out right now, but I guess, get money, Damiano…The songs aren’t bad, they’re just generic and we already have Harry Styles and now Benson Boone too.
