Cassie is 8 months pregnant with her third child with Alex Fine, who was Combs’ and then Cassie’s personal trainer while she was still in a relationship with Combs. It’s been theorized that he helped her to leave the relationship, but in his statement he says that he did not “save” Cassie, and that she saved herself.

it’s been a while since i’ve posted on here (sorry if i’ve got anything wrong mods!), but reading both of these statements just made me so emotional. i’m so proud of cassie for being the person who opened the floodgates, and i really admire her husband for sticking beside from the very beginning (and for likely playing some part in helping her get out but still giving her the full credit she deserves), no matter what awful misogynists online have to say about her trauma.
