Kyle Richards still hasn’t committed her future to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’.
Kyle Richards hasn’t decided on her Real Housewives future
The 56-year-old star – who has appeared on all 14 seasons of the Bravo reality TV series – has admitted the clock is “ticking” before the upcoming 15th season, and she’s still yet to “make that decision”.
Asked if it’s always a debate whether or not she returns after each season, she told PEOPLE magazine: “Yes, and sometimes mid-season.”
She added: “Of course. I mean, it’s very difficult for your life [to be] out there and have the world weighing in on analysing things and people not knowing you know the full scope of full details.
“And judging you without being able to explain everything, it’s very difficult.
“So it depends on what year and what season, whether I can handle it or not.”
The most recent run put the spotlight on Kyle’s split from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky – with whom she has daughters Portia, 17, Sophia, 25, and Alexia, 28 – and she ended up not tuning in.
She said: “Honestly, I didn’t watch, which I don’t like saying that, because I do like to watch the show, even if — I only watch it once, normally.
“But I like to watch even if it’s difficult. I like to watch the good end of that, but this season, it was just too challenging for me.”
Now, Kyle feels like she’s in a “better” place to sit down and watch the series, while she’s already seen “so many clips” on social media.
She explained: “What was going on in my personal life, so I just didn’t watch the reunion. I want to go back now.
“I see so many clips on Instagram anyway, but you feel like you see the show. But now I want to go back, now that I’m feeling a little better.”
Meanwhile, Kyle has admitted she had to have a “very uncomfortable” conversation with her daughters about her sexuality amid rumours about her friendship with singer Morgan Wade.
During the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ reunion, she said: “It had gotten to that point where it was something that I needed to address with my daughters.
“I wasn’t quite sure myself, to be honest. That’s not something you wake up one day and go, ‘Oh.’ It was a strange feeling.
“It was a very uncomfortable, hard conversation to have. I wanted them to always be proud of me and I didn’t want to embarrass them.”
