James Gunn comments on the 5 year time gap between ‘THE BATMAN’ and ‘THE BATMAN 2’:

The Batman (Matt Reeves verse) came out in march 2022, the sequel got pushed back again and again and is now coming out october 2027.
Fans are kinda pissed but DC boss Gunn thinks this large gaps in franchises are normal

Gunn also said the sequel is so late bc there is no script ready ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
