– Reports were posted earlier today by several news outlets that Lady Gaga threatened to leave the law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks if they didn’t stop also representing P Diddy
– The firm apparently considered Lady Gaga too big to lose and chose to drop P Diddy instead
– A spokesperson for the firm later denied this.
– “The decision to part ways with Mr. Combs was proactively made by the partners in the firm a number of months ago as they felt it was the right thing to do,” a spokesperson for the law firm exclusively told Page Six. “The report that the decision was the result of client pressure just isn’t true.”
– Neither Lady Gaga or P Diddy responded to attempts to request comments
