It’s time for your daily Sabrina Carpenter post. The “Please Please Please” singer is in full promo mode. First, she performed “Espresso,” “Feather,” “Nonsense,” “because i liked a boy,” amongst other songs at Capital’s Summertime Ball 2024.
Then today she hit up the Radio 1 Live Lounge (BBC’s legendary Maida Vale Studios) to perform a cover a Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” and “Please Please Please.” Interestingly enough, she replaced “motherfucker” with “like the others” in this live rendition, instead of the official clean edit’s “little sucker.”
And finally, in other related news, Sabreezy’s “Please Please Please” is once again challenging Post Malone and Morgan Wallen for the no. 1 spot on next week’s Hot 100 Chart in the US. She currently holds a 2% lead on them, but anything can happen as we saw this week. That song is also looking to debut at no. 1 in the UK this week, and if so, it’d be Carpenter’s second no. 1 single there.
