Darling, look they have a grass wall. There’s been some wilding’ out restaurant rules (deposits for fast-food quality meals, odd dress codes), but this location is going viral / drumming up buzz perhaps for not allowing women under 30 or men under 35.
The new restaurant, Bliss Caribbean opened in May of this year and the owners say they want to provide an ‘upscale dining experience’ and ‘maintain a sophisticated environment’.
After the policy gained some traction around town and on the innanet, Bliss Caribbean’s assistant manager responded to criticism and strong reactions by saying: “The restaurant is just something for the older people to come do… and not have to worry about young folks who bring some of that drama.” However, the older people on social media have said they like the policy. Not sure what they’ll do if a couple is comprised of a 32 year old woman and and 32 year old man (they’ll bring the food out while he waits in the car).
Me to the 23 year olds complaining and hollering about this rule:
Older people — how do you feel about “grown and sexy” establishments? Would you go?
