Celine Dion<\/a>‘ but shortly before it is released, a new interview with Hoda Kotb will debut on NBC, and the presenter admitted she was shocked by the struggles the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ hitmaker has faced.<\/p>\nSpeaking on ‘Today with Hoda and Jenna’ on Thursday (23.05.24), Hoda said: \u201cIt was so jarring to me and moving, I couldn\u2019t believe what they were able to capture in that documentary.<\/p>\n
\u201cC\u00e9line Dion at some point, she is now much better, but at some point she almost died, which is something she says.\u201d<\/p>\n
A trailer for the documentary was also released this week.<\/p>\n
\nCeline says at one point in the promotional clip: \u201cI\u2019m working everyday. But I have to admit, it\u2019s been a struggle.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Because You Loved Me’ singer recently admitted she undergoes different therapies almost every day but she will never be “cured” of her condition.<\/p>\n
\nShe told France’s Vogue magazine: \u201cI\u2019m well, but it\u2019s a lot of work. I\u2019m taking it one day at a time.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI haven\u2019t beat the disease, as it’s still within me and always will be.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI hope that we’ll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. So that\u2019s me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cFive days a week I undergo athletic, physical and vocal therapy.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI work on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice… I have to learn to live with it now and stop questioning myself.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd though Celine – who has Rene-Charles, 23, and 13-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy with late husband Rene Angelil – doesn’t know if or when she will perform again.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she would be back on stage, she said: \u201cI can\u2019t answer that\u2026 because for four years I\u2019ve been saying to myself that I\u2019m not going back, that I\u2019m ready, that I\u2019m not ready.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAs things stand, I can\u2019t stand here and say to you: \u2018Yes, in four months.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don\u2019t know… my body will tell me. On the other hand, I don\u2019t just want to wait.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
