\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Dylan Minnette<\/strong><\/a> opened up about his on-pause acting career and plans for the future. <\/p>\n The 27-year-old hit it big with his role in Netflix\u2019s 13 Reasons Why<\/em> back in 2017, but he\u2019s been working as an actor since 2005. His last big role was in 2022\u2032s Scream<\/em>, and he has since shifted gears to focus on developing his band Wallows<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n During a recent interview, Dylan<\/strong> explained the decision and revealed if he plans to get back into acting in the future. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While on The Zach Sang Show<\/em>, Dylan<\/strong> said that he was \u201creally fortunate\u201d to have had success in his acting career, acknowledging 13 Reasons Why<\/em>. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was really popular and definitely reached a peak,\u201d he said about his career at the time. \u201cBut it also started to feel like a bit of a job.\u201d Before that, acting was \u201calways fun\u201d and \u201creally inspiring.\u201d <\/p>\n He continued, saying, \u201cBut then it was starting to feel like just a job. I was like, \u2018Well\u2026\u2019 I feel like Wallows <\/strong>and music is this passion that we\u2019ve always had as a group to really take all the way as far as we can. And I was like, \u2018I feel like I\u2019m in a position now where I can just kind of do that for a while.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Dylan<\/strong> added that he didn\u2019t think the band would succeed if he didn\u2019t \u201cput my 100% time and energy into it\u201d to \u201cshow the world that we all take this very seriously.\u201d <\/p>\n That being said, he did confirm that he is thinking about acting again. However, he joked that he keeps pushing back the time when he will get back into Hollywood. <\/p>\n Dylan <\/strong>also said that he set aside time to act in 2023.
