(Me and my band) go there so much (when we\u2019re in Britain.)\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kiefer \u2013 whose parents are actor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/donald-sutherland\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,donald-sutherland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Sutherland<\/a>, 88, and the late actress Shirley Douglas, who died in 2020 aged 86 due to complications linked to pneumonia \u2013 admitted he loves gorging on calorie-packed Greggs\u2019 sausage rolls despite it getting harder and harder for him to stay in shape.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe said about his fitness struggle in the lead up for two new action films \u2013 \u2018Stone Cold Fox\u2019 and \u2018Sierra Madre\u2019: \u201cAs you get older, you know, every 10 years it gets a little harder for the body to define muscle.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cIt gets harder for the body to process&#8230; your metabolism changes. You have to make adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI hate the feeling of the beginning of a workout. And I love the feeling when it\u2019s done. I run a lot, and that\u2019s kind of the foundation of everything. <\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI\u2019ve got my version of a lightweight workout there that hopefully keeps you trimmer \u2013 light weights, heavy rotation, things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nKiefer also claimed due to his workouts he burns off calories from the likes of sausage rolls \u201cpretty quick\u201d due to amount of energy he uses on stage at his music shows.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe actor\u2019s grandad Tommy Douglas is famed for introducing a national healthcare system to Canada.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe shot to fame with his role as a gang leader in 1986 movie \u2018Stand By Me\u2019, with his parts in \u2018The Lost Boys\u2019 and \u2018Young Guns\u2019 establishing him as part of a 1980s \u201cbrat pack\u201d of actors with Hollywood veterans as parents, including Emilio Estevez.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/kiefer-sutherland-reveals-reason-hooked-greggs-sausage-rolls-1400140.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>24 May 2024 Kiefer Sutherland is hooked on Greggs sausage rolls.
