Cannes Film Festival 2024<\/a> jury president<\/a> Greta Gerwig<\/strong><\/a> may not have played the titular toy in her 2023 blockbuster, Barbie,<\/em> but there\u2019s no denying that her wardrobe while out and about in the French Riviera in recent days would be the envy of even the most fashionable 11.5-inch doll.<\/p>\n Gerwig is the first female American director to serve as president of the jury of the prestigious film festival (which is celebrating its 77th year), and at 40 years old, she is the second-youngest jury president in the festival\u2019s history.<\/p>\n Cannes is a notoriously stylish festival, with red carpets and yachts aplenty where stars can see and be seen in their fashionable finest.
