Sean Kingston<\/a> has been arrested in San Bernardino County, California, ET can confirm.<\/span><\/p>\n The San Bernardino County Sheriff\u2019s department confirms to ET that Kingston — whose real name is Kisean Anderson —\u00a0has been arrested and is currently en route to the High Desert Detention Center.<\/span><\/p>\n Kingston was taken into custody Thursday evening\u00a0in the\u00a0High Desert community of Fort Irwin.<\/span><\/p>\n The “Beautiful Girls” singer-rapper was reportedly arrested “without incident” for “numerous fraud and theft charges,” according to <\/span>People<\/a>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The arrest comes hours after <\/span>his rental home in Broward County, Florida, was raided by authorities<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the department is currently working on an incident regarding a law enforcement investigation at the rapper’s home.<\/span><\/p>\n The scope of the investigation is still unclear, but a spokesperson for the Broward Sheriff’s Office tells ET that its office, Dania Beach District detectives, along with members of Broward Sheriff’s Strategic Investigation Unit and Davie Police SWAT served arrest and search warrants at Kingston’s residence.<\/span><\/p>\n The raid resulted in the arrest of Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, 61, who was also booked on eight charges of fraud and theft,\u00a0according to booking information provided to ET by the\u00a0Broward County Sheriff.<\/span><\/p>\n
