Anya Taylor-Joy<\/strong><\/a> opened up during a conversation with her Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga<\/strong><\/a><\/em> costar Chris Hemsworth<\/strong><\/a> for Vogue Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the newly released interview, the 28-year-old actress revealed that she had wanted to shave her head for the movie. However, one person refused to let that happen. <\/p>\n She also shared a wild story about being scouted to model before breaking into Hollywood. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Anya<\/strong> told Chris<\/strong> that she was \u201cso f-cking psyched\u201d to shave her head for the role. However, director George Miller<\/strong> quickly shut the idea down. <\/p>\n \u201cI have been wanting to do it forever, my whole life. Other people have an attachment to my hair and that\u2019s like, \u2018F-ck you, I want it gone,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cI called up everyone on my team, called up Dior, called up Tiffany, and I was like, \u2018Listen, I\u2019m gonna be bald, and it\u2019s gonna be great.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n What killed the idea? \u201cGeorge<\/strong> saw me, and he just grabbed my hair and went, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s too beautiful. We can\u2019t cut it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n On how she was discovered, Anya<\/strong> recalled that she was on the street when a man started following her in his car. <\/p>\n \u201cI remember I was about to go to my first grown-up party and I was wearing my mum\u2019s heels because I wanted to practice and I had to get it right. Such an intense child. I thought this car was following me and I was like, Anya<\/strong>, your parents are watching too much 24, there\u2019s no way this is happening. And as I started to run and the car picked up speed I was like, oh no, it\u2019s happening!
