OpenAI has struck a deal with News Corp<\/a>, the media company that owns The Wall Street Journal<\/em>, the New York Post<\/em>, The Daily Telegraph, <\/em>and others. As reported by The Wall Street Journal<\/em><\/a>, OpenAI\u2019s deal with News Corp could be worth over $250 million in the next five years \u201cin the form of cash and credits for use of OpenAI technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The multi-year agreement gives OpenAI access to current and archived articles from News Corp publications for AI training and to answer user questions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The partnership also includes outlets like Barron\u2019s,\u00a0<\/em>MarketWatch, Investor\u2019s Business Daily, FN<\/em>, The Sunday Times<\/em>,\u00a0The Sun<\/em>, and The Australian,<\/em> among others, and News Corp will \u201cshare journalistic expertise\u201d with OpenAI to \u201censure the highest journalism standards.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
