This is her European leg of the tour, which began in France. It\u2019s part of why she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/05\/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-not-attending-met-gala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">couldn\u2019t make the Met Gala<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, May 18, Taylor performed in Sweden to an adoring audience. One of the songs was \u201cChampagne Problems,\u201d one of <em>Evermore<\/em>\u2018s better tunes.<\/p>\n<p>Concert-goers at the Friends Arena noticed what appeared to be a mark on the side of her neck while Taylor\u2019s hair, pulled to one side, revealed an expanse of skin. Most who noticed it took the mark to be a bruise \u2014 specifically, a hickey.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>Taylor Swift fans, such as TikTok denizen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@ryanthomasroth\/video\/7370418480316828971\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@ryanthomasroth<\/a>, documented the phenomenon in video. Most identified it as being a hickey.<\/p>\n<p>A hickey is, simply put, a bruise. Like all bruises, it appears when blood vessels near the skin (usually the very small ones) are damaged.<\/p>\n<p>What makes a hickey unique is that the term applies to bruises that appear due to kissing and sucking on the skin.
