Tracker<\/em> \u2014 and Supernatural<\/em><\/a> \u2014 fans didn\u2019t have to wait long for an update on Jensen Ackles<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 character, Russell, ahead of his season 2 return.<\/p>\n

During the season 1 finale, which aired on Sunday, May 19, Colter (Justin Hartley<\/strong><\/a>) got multiple updates on his brother Russell. Colter\u2019s case took him to Sandy Point, where he reunited with his friend Lizzie (Jennifer Morrison<\/strong>)<\/a>. While trying to track down Lizzie\u2019s daughter, Colter got a call from Reenie (Fiona Rene<\/strong>), who mentioned her attempts to find Russell.<\/p>\n

\u201cI checked with my contact who has a line on that Horizon \u2014 the private military contractor [Russell] is with,\u201d Reenie noted. \u201cHe either won\u2019t tell me anything or he doesn\u2019t know anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colter ultimately found Lizzie\u2019s daughter and got her home safe and sound. After the case was over, he received another update from Reenie about his older brother<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tracker, which premiered in February 2024, is centered around a survivalist named Colter (Hartley) who travels the country helping people and law enforcement tackle a variety of mysteries. \u201cRussell surfaced. He found me,\u201d Reenie revealed later in the episode. \u201cSent me a selfie of him at a bar on the beach in Argentina. Asked me if I wanted to join him for dinner in Buenos Aires. I told him I would have to pass on that, I am kind of busy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Viewers originally met Russell one episode prior when Colter helped him find his missing army buddy<\/a>. Before the siblings decided to work together, Colter asked Russell whether he killed their father when they were younger. Russell denied the claim \u2014 which originated from their mother \u2014 and instead said there was someone else<\/a> in the woods the night their father was found dead at the bottom of a cliff.<\/p>\n

Colter got more information about his dad\u2019s mysterious murder from Lizzie. She revealed that her mother had an affair with Colter\u2019s dad. Furthermore, their parents had a fight before his death and Lizzie later found a box her mother hid that was full of work from Colter\u2019s dad. Lizzie told Colter she gave the items to his sister, Dory (Melissa Roxburgh<\/strong>)<\/a>, who never mentioned anything to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t know that. A lot I don\u2019t know, actually. It\u2019s like I have all these pieces, but they don\u2019t fit together,\u201d Colter told Lizzie about the bombshells he kept learning about his family. When asked what he planned to do, Colter said \u201cnothing\u201d for now as the episode ended with him surfing in Sandy Point like he did when he was a child with his dad.<\/p>\n
