\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jane Lynch<\/strong><\/a> is gushing over her former Glee<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>co-star!<\/p>\n The actress recently praised Lea Michele<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s performance as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n If you forgot, Jane<\/strong> originated the role of Fanny\u2019s mom Mrs Brice in the revival, performing alongside Beanie Feldstein<\/strong><\/a> and Julie Benko<\/strong><\/a>. Shortly after Jane<\/strong>\u2018s exit, Lea<\/strong> stepped into her dream role of Fanny. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLea Michele<\/strong>, ladies and gentlemen. She basically had her dream come true \u2014 and the dream for the show come true \u2014 for Funny Girl<\/em>,\u201d Jane<\/strong> told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cAnd she just really killed it, knocked it out of the park.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe almost overlapped,\u201d she added, admitting, \u201cThere\u2019s a part of me now going, \u2018You should have stayed. You should have stayed.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n If you recall, Lea<\/strong>\u2018s Glee<\/em> character Rachel Berry also wanted to star as Fanny Brice, and even had it come true in later seasons.<\/p>\n \u201cIt came true,\u201d Jane<\/strong> shared. \u201cShe sang the hell out of that show and acted the hell out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n Jane<\/strong> left the production of Funny Girl<\/em> early<\/a> \u2013 she was supposed to star until September 5th, but moved her exit date up nearly a month earlier.<\/p>\n While many speculated it was to avoid overlapping with Lea<\/strong>, who actually debuted on September 6th, Jane<\/strong> revealed that she already had a pre-planned vacation<\/a> and she decided to just end her run before the vacation.
