\nThe 64-year-old star has revealed via Instagram that she’ll be stepping back from social media platforms, explaining that she’s “in need of a mental health break”.<\/p>\n
\nValerie – who recently revealed that she’s dating Mike Goodnough – shared on Instagram: “The last six or so weeks have been\u2026a LOT.<\/p>\n
\n“And while I am incredibly grateful for all your support for my book and everyone I\u2019ve had the good fortune to meet, this here introvert in extrovert\u2019s clothing is in need of a mental health break.<\/p>\n
\n“I know, I know, this isn\u2019t an airport, I don\u2019t need to announce my departure. I just know how some of you worry about me if I don\u2019t post often enough.<\/p>\n
\n“But, I\u2019m good.<\/p>\n
\n“Honest.<\/p>\n
\n“Taking a little social media cleanse\/detox and a mental health break is a good thing and I\u2019m grateful I\u2019m at a place in my life where I\u2019m aware enough to know when I\u2019m overwhelmed and mentally\/emotionally exhausted.<\/p>\n
\n“Y\u2019all take care of yourselves.<\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019ll be back before you know it. [heart emoji] (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nValerie finalised her divorce from Tom Vitale, her husband of ten years, in November 2022.<\/p>\n
\nAnd in March, the TV star revealed that she had a new man in her life, explaining that their romance was unlike anything she’d previously experienced.<\/p>\n
\nValerie – who didn’t name Mike at the time – told PEOPLE: “I\u2019ve met someone. And I\u2019m incredibly grateful for him.<\/p>\n
\n“It\u2019s unlike any relationship that I\u2019ve ever experienced with a man. I don\u2019t want to say too much, but I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met him, because I wasn\u2019t expecting it!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
