\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Rachel Bilson<\/strong><\/a> and Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a> are revealing the truth about their relationship.<\/p>\n Back in 2019, it was reported the 41-year-old actress and the 42-year-old Bachelor<\/em> alum briefly dated<\/a> after they flirted on Instagram.<\/p>\n While appearing on his podcast The Viall Files<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday (March 21), Rachel<\/strong> and Nick<\/strong> admitted that they faked their relationship for \u201cattention.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cNo, Nick and I never dated,\u201d Rachel<\/strong> admitted while Nick<\/strong> added, \u201cWe did troll the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel<\/strong> clarified that she and Nick<\/strong> were just \u201cmessing around\u2014not together, but I mean with the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n Nick<\/strong> explained that they were both \u201cepically single and we wanted the attention.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel<\/strong> then added that their fake relationship never \u201cgot to a point\u201d where they developed feelings for each other.<\/p>\n Nick <\/strong>explained that the fake relationship idea popped into his head after they \u201cbecame good friends\u201d following her appearance on his podcast in July 2019.<\/p>\n After that, Nick<\/strong> and Rachel<\/strong> thought about developing a spinoff podcast together.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was going to be called Making Love With Nick and Rachel<\/em>,\u201d Nick<\/strong> shared. \u201cI had an Instagram saved already for it.
