Cassie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s husband is breaking his silence after the hotel security footage of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> assaulting her is released.<\/p>\n On Friday (May 17), CNN obtained a video from back in 2016 of the 54-year-old music mogul assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie<\/strong>, 37, in a hotel<\/a> as she seemingly tried to escape him.<\/p>\n After the video was released, Cassie<\/strong>\u2018s husband Alex Fine<\/strong><\/a>, who she married in 2019, released a statement slamming \u201cabusers.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cLetter to women and children, Men who hit women aren\u2019t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren\u2019t men,\u201d the 31-year-old personal trainer shared in a letter posted on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAs men violence against women shouldn\u2019t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved,\u201d Alex<\/strong> wrote. \u201cHold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cTo all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you. To all the survivors you\u2019re not all alone, and there are men and women who care only for your well being and safety.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe want you to succeed and flourish. To all the women and children, I\u2019m sorry you live in a world where you\u2019re not protected, and you don\u2019t feel equal,\u201d Alex<\/strong> added. \u201cI want to raise my daughters in a world where they are safe and loved.\u201d<\/p>\n Alex<\/strong> concluded, \u201cTo the abusers, you\u2019re done, you\u2019re not safe anymore, you\u2019re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you\u2019re so miserable with yourself that d\u2014h would be considered a kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n In the caption of the post, Alex<\/strong> wrote, \u201cWrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but everyday. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that\u2019s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals. To the women and children, you\u2019re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.\u201d<\/p>\n If you forgot, Cassie<\/strong> accused Diddy<\/strong> of rape and abuse<\/a> in a lawsuit filed back in late 2023.<\/p>\n They settled the case outside of court<\/a> one day after the lawsuit was filed. However, Diddy<\/strong>\u2018s legal team maintained that the settlement was not an \u201cadmission of wrongdoing\u201d<\/a> on his part. <\/p>\n Diddy<\/strong> has not yet publicly addressed the video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
