Cassie<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s husband, Alex Fine<\/strong>, is speaking out after a video of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> appearing to physically assault<\/a> his ex-girlfriend surfaced online.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want my kids and every kid to live in a world that\u2019s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals,\u201d Fine, 31, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, May 17. \u201cTo the women and children, you\u2019re not alone, and you are heard. if you need help call the domestic violence hotline at (800) 799-7233.\u201d<\/p>\n

The model proceeded to share a \u201cletter to women and children\u201d he wrote \u201cawhile back, but the words ring true not just today but everyday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMen who hit women aren\u2019t men. Men who enable it and protect these people aren\u2019t men,\u201d the letter stated. \u201cAs men, violence against women shouldn\u2019t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Cassie (real name Cassandra Ventura) has since married Alex Fine and become a mother, her relationship with Diddy hasn\u2019t stopped making headlines. Fine and Cassie, 37, have been married<\/a> since 2019 and share daughters<\/a> Frankie, 4, and Sunny, 3.<\/p>\n

Before marrying Fine, Cassie dated Diddy, 54, on and off for 11 years. In November 2023, she settled a lawsuit<\/a> that accused her ex-boyfriend <\/b>of sexual assault and abuse. At the time, Diddy\u2019s lawyer, Ben Brafman<\/strong>, said that the settlement did not indicate that Diddy was guilty.<\/p>\n

Diddy and Cassie\u2019s relationship was put back in the spotlight on Friday when CNN<\/a> released security footage from 2016 that reportedly shows the music mogul grabbing, shoving, dragging and kicking his then-girlfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,\u201d Cassie\u2019s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor<\/strong>, said in a statement to Us Weekly<\/i>. \u201cWords cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Fine did not mention Diddy by name in his latest post, his letter provided a message to survivors of abuse.<\/p>\n

\u201cFind the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real and people believe you,\u201d the note stated. \u201cTo all the survivors, you\u2019re not alone and there are men and women who care only for your well being and safety. We want you to succeed and flourish.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fine went on to apologize to women and children who \u201clive in a world where you\u2019re not protected.\u201d He hopes to raise his daughters in a place where they are \u201csafe and loved.\u201d<\/p>\n
