Joe Alwyn<\/strong><\/a> was spotted chatting with a group of mystery blondes at a Cannes Film Festival party in France as ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> geared up to drop three new digital versions<\/a> of her The Tortured Poets Department<\/em> album, with one featuring a \u201cfirst draft phone memo\u201d of a song believed to be about the English actor.<\/p>\n Joe, 33, was spotted mingling during the Golden Globes and Robb Report Cocktail Party celebrating the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France, on the evening of Thursday, May 16, as seen in a video obtained by TMZ<\/em><\/a>. The U.K. native, who is attending the film festival for his movie Kinds Of Kindness<\/em>, could be seen wearing a black and white outfit as he spoke with a group of blonde women at the party.<\/p>\n Witnesses told the publication that Joe was \u201cthe biggest celeb\u201d at the event and had \u201ca long line of folks wanting to chat with him.\u201d He was reportedly \u201csuper charming,\u201d but he did not stay at the party for long.<\/p>\n Joe arrived in the South of France earlier on Thursday ahead of the film festival on Friday, May 17. This marked his first major public appearance since Taylor, 34, dropped her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department<\/em><\/a>, on April 19.<\/p>\n Speaking of Taylor, she announced on Thursday that she would be dropping three new digital versions of the standard TTPD<\/em> album, with each one featuring a voice memo of a first draft of one song, on Friday. The songs are \u201cWho\u2019s Afraid of Little Old Me?,\u201d Cassandra\u201d and \u201cThe Black Dog,\u201d and fans must purchase all three album variants to collect all three voice memos.<\/p>\n Like many other tracks on TTPD<\/em>, \u201cThe Black Dog\u201d is believed to be about Joe<\/a>, who dated Taylor from 2018 to 2023. The song references a real-life bar named \u201cThe Black Dog,\u201d and the owner of the establishment hinted on April 22 that the Conversations With Friends<\/em> star is a regular visitor.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to give too much away,\u201d the owner told Sky News<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe do have a certain blond regular who frequents. Let\u2019s just say that.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor has moved on to a new romance, though, as she\u2019s been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce<\/strong> since July 2023.
