The highly anticipated trailer for Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s upcoming film It Ends With Us <\/i>has dropped \u2014 and it features a haunting rendition of a Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong> song.<\/p>\n

Based on the bestselling Colleen Hoover<\/strong> novel of the same name, the film\u2019s teaser<\/a> includes a slowed down version of \u201cMy Tears Ricochet,\u201d a track from Swift\u2019s Folklore<\/i> album. Swift croons as fans get a quick look at Hoover\u2019s story, which follows a girl named Lily (Lively) who falls for a doctor named Ryle (Justin Baldoni<\/strong>). Just as things turn serious \u2014 and dangerous \u2014 Lily\u2019s first love Atlas (Brandon Sklenar<\/strong>) reappears in her life and challenges her new relationship.<\/p>\n

The wildly popular book<\/a> was released in 2016, becoming a cultural phenomenon on social media and the top-selling print book of 2022. The novel remained on The New York Times<\/i> bestseller list for more than 90 weeks.<\/p>\n

Baldoni, 40, who also directed the film, promised fans that they can expect an adaptation that remains faithful<\/a> to the book. \u201cDon\u2019t worry I see EVERYTHING you all tag me in \ud83d\udc90\ud83c\udf6a\ud83d\udcdd,\u201d he captioned a March 2022 TikTok of him typing furiously while \u201ctrying to keep up with all the \u2018It Ends With Us\u2019 casting, scene and song requests.\u201d<\/p>\n
