In an interview released Wednesday, May 15, the 53-year-old actor spoke with Sirius\u00a0<\/span>XM\u2019s The Jess Cagle Show<\/i><\/span><\/a>\u00a0about making a surprise cameo in Taylor Swift<\/b><\/a>\u2019s \u201cFortnight\u201d video alongside his Dead Poets Society<\/i> costar, Josh Charles<\/b>, 52.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think there\u2019s some kind of psychic connection she was trying to provide for the fans about The Tortured Poets Department and the Dead Poets Society,\u201d he said. \u201cShe was kind of doing some little homage, and so she asked a couple of us old dogs to come out and make our presence known.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so amazing because it\u2019s a completely different realm for you,\u201d host Julia Cunningham<\/b> said, adding that within \u201cthe whole Swiftie, larger culture \u2014 there\u2019s a whole Swiftipedia \u2014 it lists you as, you know, appears in \u201cFortnight\u2019 video<\/em>, as if that\u2019s the only thing you\u2019ve ever done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
