Not only is the country star possibly going to sweep the event, but these are his first ACM nominations.<\/p>\n The Tennessee native also opened up about the possibility of receiving his first ACM with the outlet and was still seemingly in shock about his recognition.<\/p>\n \u201cMy first thought was, \u2018You been nominated four times, what could I have done that justified four nominations?!\u2019\u201d Jelly recalled<\/a>. \u201cThe Entertainer of the Year, that\u2019s crazy talk \u2026 I just couldn\u2019t wrap my head around being nominated four times. Before I even seen what the four noms were, I seen the stat that it was the first time someone went from zero nominations to Entertainer of the Year nomination since Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong> in 1993.\u201d<\/p>\n Jelly has received endless flowers recently and was honored at his former high school earlier this month after being banned<\/a> as a student.
