\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Sarah Paulson<\/strong><\/a> did not hold back with a story about an actress named Trish Hawkins<\/strong><\/a>, who gave her six pages of unsolicited acting notes.<\/p>\n It dates back to 2013 when Sarah <\/strong>started in a production of Lanford Wilson<\/strong>\u2019s Talley\u2019s Folly<\/em> off-Broadway. Trish Hawkins portrayed the role in the original production back in 1979 off-Broadway before it transferred to Broadway in 1980.<\/p>\n Sarah<\/strong>\u2018s mother was in a writing group with Trish<\/strong>, and brought her to see Sarah <\/strong>in the play.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe last time I was on stage, I did a play called Talley\u2019s Folly<\/em> at the Roundabout, and the actress \u2014 and I\u2019m going to say this, and I\u2019m not going to ask you to cut this out, because I don\u2019t f-cking care \u2014 this actress came to the play. Her name is Trish Hawkins<\/strong>. \u2018Hi, Trish<\/strong>! Hi, Trisha<\/strong>!\u2019 Trish Hawkins<\/strong> came to the play \u2026 am I going to get sued? I don\u2019t care, because I think this is outrageous,\u201d Sarah recalled on the latest episode of the Smartless <\/em>podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sarah <\/strong>recalled, \u201cShe came to the play, proceeded to say \u2014 she looked at me up and down and then she went, \u2018Your dress is yellow. Mine was pink.\u2019 And I thought, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cCut to two days later, I got an email that was six pages long of notes and a communication to me about what she had done when she had done the play, what she recommended I do. It was outrageous. It was really outrageous. Trish Hawkins<\/strong>, I have not forgotten it, and I hope to see you never,\u201d Sarah <\/strong>continued. <\/p>\n Sarah <\/strong>added that she did keep the note, but never told her mom what happened. <\/p>\n \u201cI just put it back in the file of things my mother has done,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n If you aren\u2019t aware, Sarah <\/strong>is a critically lauded actress with an Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG Award, and, a 2024 Tony Award nomination too!<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
